JUNIOR/SENIOR PAIRS

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

This seasons Junior/Senior pairs day is scheduled for Sunday 25th March (12.30pm start). This event has been running for several years now and continues to be a very enjoyable fun afternoon for all concerned.  There is a plate competition for the 1st round losers and prizes for the winners & runners up of both the main event & the plate.

16 juniors are drawn with 16 seniors and they proceed to play a straight knockout 2 bowl pairs competition over 2 sets of 7 ends.  There are always some interesting pairings especially when family members are drawn to play against each other, but this all adds to the excitement.

As well as being a fun afternoon we also hope the day will raise a bit of cash for the juniors. The Directors waver the rink fees for the afternoon and the Junior Coaches run a small raffle. These raffle tickets are already on sale in the club and can be obtained from Sheila Hipkiss or from Alison behind the bar.

If you are free on the afternoon of the 25th March - please come along cheer the teams on.
