Erewash played Barwell in the 2nd rd of the EIBA’s Top Club competition on Sun (18th Nov) and just lost out in what was a very close finish. This is a mixed competition and involves a Ladies & Men’s Singles, plus a Mixed Pairs,Triples & Fours.

Erewash Won the Men’s singles by 4 shots but lost the Ladies singles by 3 shots. Barwell won the pairs by 10 shots, but Erewash won the Fours by 11 shots, so the result of the game was now dependant on the Triples. Erewash started the last end 1 shout down, but because we had a better shots average a tie would have given us victory. However, Barwell managed to hang on to shot and so won the game by 10 points to 6.

WEEKEND AFTERNOONS

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

It is no longer viable to keep the Centre open all afternoon when we have no pre-booked weekend match.

The Centre will therefore now officially close at 2.30pm on Saturday & Sunday afternoons when we have no home club match and the rink book will be marked accordingly.

Dispensation to play National/County Comps may be given if no other date is available. However, any request to book a National or County comp when the club is due to be closed must be put in writing to the Manger.
